History:
Since its inception in 2000, the NCCCA has played a vital role in the development of the arts, collaborating with our community and strengthening the economics of the North Country. Re-granting programs, such as Decentralization through the New York State Council on the Arts, have provided thousands of dollars for entertainment and recognition of sparsely served areas of our counties for many years. Partnering with NYS Office of Children and Family Services, we have provided a variety of scholarships for area youths to attend Artquest, Theatre for Youth, and Warm Up the Winter. NCCCA is located at 30 Brinkerhoff Street, in the historic downtown Plattsburgh area. We currently occupy the historic Merchants Bank building, diagonally across from The Strand. HOURS: Effective September 1, 2008 FALL (Sept. - Nov.) Sunday & Monday - CLOSED Tuesday through Friday - 9:00am to 6:00pm Saturday - 9:00am to 4:00pm WINTER (Dec. - Feb.) Sunday & Monday - CLOSED Tuesday through Friday - 9:00am to 4:00pm Saturday - 11:00am to 4:00pm SPRING (Mar. - May.) Sunday & Monday - CLOSED Tuesday through Friday - 9:00am to 6:00pm Saturday - 9:00am to 4:00pm SUMMER (Jun. - Aug.)
